PLEASE TAKE A MOMENT AND REMEMBER

all the victims of 9/11. I saw a documentary the other night and the whole thing still gives me goosebumps and brings tears to my eyes. I remember every photo shown on that documentary very vividly. I remember everything I did that day...from being in the studio at the radio station I worked at watching the 2nd plane hit, to gathering with all the employees in the conference room to watch all that was going on, to our GM telling us all to go home for the day and be with our families. I was in the Milwaukee area at the time and it's a big enough market that it was thought they might try to hit there as well, so schools were telling parents it was okay to come and pick up your children. It was a horrible, horrible day, one that will never ever be forgotten. My eyes are actually tearing up a bit right now thinking about it and as affected as I am by it today, think of the families who's loved ones passed away and how they must be feeling today. To the heros (and their families) who managed to divert the last plane from hitting it's target, thank you for your bravery and for sacrificing yourselves for the USA. Please keep them all in your thoughts and prayers today and remember, we are lucky to live in a country that is free.

Amen.
My dad was working at the Pentagon at the time and my husband was active duty military....that day took on a pretty surreal quality for me. I'll never forget it.
